It's about time Edward the Potatoe is featured in a comic strip. He has had his own television show, "The Life and Times of Edward the Potatoe" here in the States for ten years now and has not branched out to other media... until now!
You capture his smirk PERFECTLY, a feat I thought would never be possible due to the C64's technical limitations. But there it is, in all it's smirky glory. Wonderful!
I love the way you capture his origin story... Much like Spiderman is bitten by a radioactive spider and Superman escapes his dying planet, Edward simply sprouts from the ground and becomes king! It's incredible in it's simplicity, yet very deep on a philosophical level.
Outstanding work. I can't wait to see the crossovers with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Garfield the Cat and Dilbert. Especially Dilbert. |

Would have been much better if the border was white and the two pics would have been displayed in succession rather than both at once.
And of course a funny little tune to accompany the whole :-) |
