Standing so tall / The ground behind
No trespassers / On every floor
A garden swing / And another door
She makes it clear / That everything is hers

A place of abode
Not far from here
Ms. Van de Veer

All that belongs to / No-one sees
Curtains that waver / When evening falls
Inclosed by fences / Smothered by wood
Who stands behind / The shadows of the trees

A place of abode
Not far from here
Ms. Van de Veer

Standing so tall / But no-one sees
No trespassers / Whan evening falls
A garden swing / Smothered by wood
Shw makes it clear / The shadows of the trees

Just went to listen to Nitzer Ebb live and thought about how to represent music 20 years after...
The same old tunes played multiple of times. It was really great even if I'm not that all of a fan myself of the group particularly.

I guess it's possible with the right atmosphere and power and attitude. I think it's possible to recover that early EBM period with certain distance to it.

No doubt Fredrik will produce own sounds, songs and character to it eventually and part from that, I might judge his pieces as of any non-specific time, just as good covers of any non-scene music whatsoever… And there has been way too many in the history of the productions of this ”scene”. Can’t remember any discussion of similar to this in the past though (People were all that into DM, Pet Shop and Toto and didn’t care less I guess).

EDIT: With some exceptions, some of which were excellent covers, digitally representations of analog artefacts.
...And what Stainless said...

initially, i thought fredrik's music would be nice experimental niche with oldskool vibes. now i hear only covers with no polish in it. i won't defend it anymore - geir was right and for sure better at foreseeing certain disadvantages than my fool self was ;)

I've had the last of your tunes playing like one and a half minutes to see if there's some more variety. This tune I gave up on after 50 something seconds. Guess I'll skip your next 25 tunes...

Allright. You really need to try a different editor. With some filterwork on the bassline and proper percussions it would have been alot better.
You're going to have to try harder. And work on the instruments. Alot.

And the next time when You think a tune sounds awesome and You can't wait to upload it on CSDb, to claim praise and glory, let it rest for a day or two. Heck, let it rest for a week.

Then relisten.

It wont sound so great anymore. Trust me. Then work on it some more. Lather, rinse, repeat.
I know the urge to let everyone in on a new tune, but in the long run it's better to hold back and put some more work into it.

Not bad, but I'd love the vocals added or replaced with something to ease the monotony.

Now try to do a decent version of "crushed" :)

Yes, it is monotony, I know, so what!
Just listen one time then, not twice :)
