It is a 1991 SID with no serious purpose. I liked that game so much that I even wrote this tribute tune. It was among the first things I created with GMCv1.6, prolly the very first one I started with it. I wasn't really practiced with the editor at the time and wasn't totally satisfied with the sound except for the last part that had a strong effect on all my following tunes. I consider this SID as some kind of turning point where I started to find my own voice.

I guess, that was the point when I started to ruin everything with heavy filtering :)

This tune was the reason for dusting off my old C64 music disks that ended up sending them to HVSC and uploading some of them here. I started a SID remix album in April 2009 and I picked that tune. Unfortunately, in 1991 (or so) only the first half was recorded on tape (familiar, eh...? :D ) because tape ended - so I started to solder X1541M, started cursing PC parallel port designers, started bombing iAN with broken SIDs, etc-etc... :)
