The Image was made with Photoshop CS 4, Wacom Bamboo and Project One, during the 15-17th of July 2009.
The picture was made in two layers, the background and foreground.
The background uses two sets of the same pattern scaled different (x2) and excluded on each a perfect set of traditional pattern from the world heritage.
The foreground, a banality serving the competition theme with an easy made gradient (halftone) which most of you could do yourself (however in itself would make a very nice effect in a demo).
A simple image on human proportion probably taught at any art school you attended. A face... Something most of you still lack and fail. I always fail! Just give that image a horizontal-flip and you'll see :P

And oh, despite the off c64 equipment, I still do my own work!
Earlier as of my VN#51 Artwork, I used to work with CENIMATE to do them manually: The merging of background/foreground.
If any of you have tried you know how nice it is to be part of the transition-effects yourself. I've seen so few of these artworks in the scene myself, so I guess I was one of those dinosaurs until quite recently... And I still do love drazpaint due to the keyboard :D
