Bordeaux: As far as it seems, we sail under the same colurs :)

On your SIDding: It is wise to know our limitations - but useful to fully know the good sides of our wings to let them spread with confidence ;)

You're an alright composer yourself. Never worry about that. Being humble is a precious gift - just trust your competence as well ;)

Necro.. you are so right :)

So where the our posts come from..grin, well.. Jan posted a private talk we had on IRC actually, he should have posted the 2 following lines too, but being kind to me he obviously didn’t.. it does explain why I expressed myself like that.. Good thing I keep a log file too:

[02:48] <Bordeaux> quite easy for me to spot he's better then me, just not experienced
[02:48] <Bordeaux> i know my limitations
[02:48] <Bordeaux> :)

I have always tried motivating anyone I could find interested in sid fully knowing how complex it can be, and most don’t have the patience to stick with it.. so it really was a little \o/ moment I had to share with Jan since we were sid talking :)

@Bordeaux: I agree with your irritation of pointless flaming towards Fredrik - but dude, you seriously mistake his own personal development with the '...influence' from here ;)

'Listened for once'? To what? Consistent flaming?

The shortened and straight-to-the-point message that this guy (at the beginning of the road) received here instead of constructive feedback most of the time, or so-called 'inspration' was like:

FUCK YOU, STOP THAT!!!

Downlooking just as like they were natural born coders / musicians / GFX guys, without development phases...

I don't mean you Bordeaux (& Jan) and a couple of others - but with that 'common' attitude, is this the right place where someone should get the inspiration to improve...?

Fredrik, man... I totally respect your attitude and determination. You have an old-school style that I like, too. Execution is not perfect at this phase, but there are good moments and you'll improve from tune to tune - by yourself.

Just do your thing your way and don't give a crap on what people say. Including me! :)

[02:47] <Bordeaux> i try to critic him somehow positively
[02:47] <JanH> clearly he improves, and works for it. he just needs to use a better music program
[02:48] <Bordeaux> oh yes
[02:48] <Bordeaux> and someone to teach him stuff

Fredrik, some notes come out terribly loud making it loose harmony.. maybe you'd like to play around with volume on some notes for future tunes.

Thanx!
i am waiting for the sidpacker to be fixed. That´s why is is $0800-$6321.
But the creator of the packer has promised to fix it. Then it is compatible with the windows Vista and Windows 7.

I don't know the swedish tradition but it sounds boring for me.
