Nice idea to fix the bugs, though the rope seems a little TOO easy to jump from now, to the point where your character regularly just falls off it.

The newly uploaded file with fixes did not even exist 29 May 2010, so how can that be the release date? Every new change/fix/improvement released should get its own entry, I thought that was pretty clear around here by now.

Removed the older links, as they are no longer needed.

Right. This is hopefully the last time I'm modifying this game. :)

I have made an ultimate fixed version of Jet Set Willy, with some more bugfixes which should make the JSW 64 experience even more enjoyable. The fixes:

* Jump length to the right is the same as the jump to the left now!! Consistency in jumping at last! :)
* Bird position in "The drive" now changed. Should be much easier to get out of there now.
* THE BIGGEST CHANGE: Rope routine IMPROVED! Now it should be much easier to jump off the ropes in the game!

You might want to check this one out! :D

please don't add the original cracker group to "released by" - they have nothing to do with this release. (add the original cracker to the credits instead)

also: nice release indeed.
