okay, I've thought by 2010 I would not think of a koala pic it must be an FLI, and besides teh technique, the content is awesome aswell. Shows Timanthes was there with its layers.

Haha, I see the resamblance as well. Nice pic anyways, although I have to say the face looks a bit odd. I'll assume this was intentional. Multicolour isn't dead yet.

I really think the sid and the multicolor resolution is what is most uniqe about the commodore64... A multicolor image is c64 art in a way... no others look the same.

Great pic. Juicy horns, and the nose is crunchy. Will have to give the 136 technique a try. I have done something similar (but simpler) with a more standard 1-to-1 dither in Photoshop, representing it with a 50/50 blended color.
