The scroll text of the hidden part states a REU of 128 K(i)B and upwards is supported. Well, here "upwards" could mean the maximum RAM expansion of 512 KiB? AFAIK that's the maximum size REUs were sold originally.

Anyway, the demo worked fine on my 1541U-I (Ethernet) using an original Kernal and DOS (no JiffyDOS activated on C64 and emulated disk drive, also no cart active) in combination with a REU size of 128, 256 and 512 KiB, but not above. DMA loading did work.

The loader is not perfect:

1) It only works with one drive active on the bus. But any device number (8-31) can be used.
2) It might not like Jiffydos.
3) Sometimes the installer hangs up.
4) The REU parts doesnt work with the 1541u.
