Summary
Submitted by TheRyk on 9 November 2010
Though I really did test on emulators and real hardware before the release of 1.3+, I was trapped by assuming that $CFFF was ALWAYS poked #$FF after turning your computer on - which actually is the case in VICE 2.1 (both NTSC and PAL emulation) and my "main machine", at the moment a 250469 board. However, a few of my machines seem to have other initial values/no fix $cfff value at all, so the code did not work.

If 1.3+ works fine on your system, e.g. if your system is poked 53247,255 after turning it on or if you emulate on VICE and do not wish to use the image on real hardware anyway, don't bother to download the 1.31 fix.

Next time I will not trust VICE and only one real machine but be more careful and test on various machines before releasing anything.

However, I'd like to apologozie to everybody who had any problems due to the goofed 1.3+.
