Created 1996:
Gunpaint/Jan Zimmermann [1994]

Released 1st March 1996

Created for the 50th Anniversary release of The Tribune. A mish mash of source material provided the inspiration. Source material included: Barry Pipers [Nastiness Inc.] holding baseball bat, wearing a black Nike vest. Ref: Photograph taken during X’96/Utrecht, The Netherlands [1996]. The Tasmanian Devil/Looney Tunes. Ref: Magazine image of video game Taz-Mania/Sega Mega Drive. The large 50. Ref: Arcade game 1942/Capcom [1984]. Angry logo. Ref: Subconsciously, various Amiga demos, possibly provided some inspiration. The rest of the image, including the Burger, were made up. Between 1996 and now [2009] if there were one thing I would change, that would be the PRESENTS.
