The intro writes 0 to $3fff but doesn't restore it on exit, so 2nd part will crash if you wait too much (few seconds actually).
To fix it, before pushing space in the intro, enter monitor and
> 3fff 1c
then press space and you can enjoy 2nd part a little more =)
