The more I listen to this one the more I love it. | User Comment Submitted by psych on 6 December 2012 User Comment Submitted by la_mettrie on 29 November 2012 User Comment Submitted by Kristian on 29 November 2012 User Comment Submitted by Jammer on 26 November 2012
Really unpredictable and those progressions plus rhythm change really kick major ass \o/ | User Comment Submitted by Hate Bush on 26 November 2012 User Comment Submitted by Dane on 25 November 2012
Drums on every beat, that's it. It reminded me of some of your earlier tunes. I can't for the life of me remember which Nintendo tune those chords sound like, it's been way too long since I played any of the games. | User Comment Submitted by Radiant on 25 November 2012
Dane: Personally I thought of a passage from the ending theme in Super Metroid when I listened to the result, but I guess variations of it has been used in a lot of places - it feels really classic, and I think anybody'd be hard pressed to convey the same mood through music without basing it on the same play on chords.
If anyone can find a better match for the melody, please let me know; it's been bugging me. :-) The same sequence of chords (with the bass remaining on the same note) is used in music from for example Super Mario Bros 2 and Little Nemo: Dream Master, but none of them are close matches melody wise.
As for metal drums I'm not sure whether you mean the instrument sounds or the rhythms (the snare-on-every-beat segment?), but power ballads are above all a (glam) metal songwriting style in any case. | User Comment Submitted by Dane on 25 November 2012
It starts out as most others but as soon as the percussion goes metal I know it's a RadiantX tune. The part around 1:38 reminds me of Nintendo, not sure which game. | User Comment Submitted by andym00 on 25 November 2012
Really like this! Just realised it's been looping away without me realising it for the last half hour :) Must be good! | User Comment Submitted by Yogibear on 25 November 2012 User Comment Submitted by CreaMD on 24 November 2012
Yes! This is something I would expect to hear in high score table after game over while choosing letters of my name with joystick. Solid stuff. | User Comment Submitted by spider-j on 24 November 2012
Cool, this sounds like you tried to make a happy *and* sad highscore tune. Very good one. | User Comment Submitted by hedning on 24 November 2012
Tryckare! <3 Good one, radiantx! |
