Very nice. I can immediately imagine being there at the calm lake. Trees are a bit monotonic, but I like the rest a lot.

Reminds me of one of these places I go to when I want to be alone with my thoughts. Is there an incoming comet glowing up the woods? I especially like the bushes at 8 o´clock.

Colorful! Nice to see nature depicted in a somewhat Fin de siècle representation here, very dream-like. I do like abstract work, don’t get me wrong from my own experiments and yet at the same time, I’ve seen rather many tries in these (still in a way, post-modern) times in returning to descriptive imagery (talking about painting of the real world in general). Since all doesn’t arise around simplistic stories, I’m rather pleased with the comeback of subjective narratives in whatever shape they might deploy. For me atleast there is still a big struggle, especially in computer art on how to describe something that is obviously neither painting, photography nor moving images, eventhough it's easy to fall back on such phenomenal descriptions.

indeed, would have rocked, with more natural shaped composition, too artifical.

Nice use of colour Katarina, looking forward to your next pixels already.

I'd have preferred some more irregularity, e.g. the shape of the tarn might be a little too "geometrical".

A very good pic it is, though!

I love this! Interesting work on the details, the patterns/textures gives it a somewhat abstract feeling.

There's so much detail in this picture, I keep seeing new things the longer I look at it. Glad to see it was on screen a pretty long time at Datastorm. A quick glance doesn't do it justice. Keep 'em coming, ekg!
