Some photo of shark was probably used as reference. Or the memory of such photo/image. I wouldn't call using references "copying". Most of the artists use references in some or all of their works.
I wouldn't mind if authors posted (references) in production notes, though. |

I don't know if it's copied, and I don't really care (there's enough original creativity in this picture anyway), but those highlights especially around the shark's "nose" look a lot like the posted photo, just saying.
Anyway, am I the only one who sees the shark's belly as a giant blob sticking out of the screen? I have some problems with my eyes, maybe it's just that. |

When someone mentioned that this isn't a copied picture, I'm also thinking over it...so I started to looking for any shark themed picture on the Internet...soon I found this image which was linked by jb earlier before. despite of this ,I found a dozen of these nearly SIMILAR ones...
I think that the sharks are looking all the same, so they nearly have similar apperance in shape, in figure, in location...etc.
So,because I cannot prove that this shark is MY artwork,despite of anything that I'll claim like 'I made it from the first to the last sketch in photoshop'...
but if I'll put a link about this progress here I also can't earn anything with it at all.
I think that this shark is not the same shark...maybe the composition of the image or because of the rectangular shape.
After all, I'll draw all my new- coming stuffs to a sheet of paper and I'll take a photo of it, because it's ridiculous...
I'm sorry for that I had to apologize for nothing... |
