One of the nicest game title screens ever made. Rather exact looking conversion.

Hi folx, yes there is a bug where if you die as you go into mothership, you will get a endless explosion (until you die again) and yes sometimes when you run out of time you get a endless asteroid attack, most of the time is ok though, just sloppy programming by myself. (Was written using the Monitor on VICE and not a assembler for a laugh, so well Old Skool) glad you enjoying the Quirky bugs! Lol

Its an homage to the might 2600 obviously. Frying was all about the 2600 'back in the days'...

Yep, this game is fully of crazy bugs Groepaz :) When you run out of time on the planet an asteroid flies towards your ship, and you get a chance to shoot it. But one time, they just kept on coming and coming, faster and faster until I died. Then they came some MOAR! Wheeeeee! :D

I for one actually found these random buggy parts of the game super fun :)

there seem to be some problems with this.... i managed to get into a strange state where the explosion anim of the "probe" looped endlessly, while i could still play somewhat. then in the meteor scene the game went out of control, gfx junk appeared in the background, and every time i press fire the mothership "dies". couldnt reproduce that ofcourse =P

Never played the original... I just love the oldschool-science-fiction feel of this one. It just oozes late-seventies atmosphere.
