You can now enjoy this tune in stereo at DeepSID. | User Comment Submitted by Sith on 28 October 2017
Holy crap, you boys are insane! I always wanted to know what a multi-SID would sound like. Fantastic!
On a sidenote: I can't accept this as a stock C64 demo so won't rate it. I have one C64c and VICE. There's no way to run this. Impressive work nevertheless. | User Comment Submitted by Magnar on 1 October 2017
Honstely, I would never connect 4 C64s together to Watch this one live at home. :) So this is kinda Youtube demo in my view. Sorry! Because I know the hard work, linking nightmare, getting things synched together is hell of an achievement. Thumb up for creativity and actually doing it :) | User Comment Submitted by Magic on 30 September 2017
World record.. but should not be in de top 10 | User Comment Submitted by NecroPolo on 26 September 2017
One of the best memories / surprises from Function 2017.
Supermassive respect guys! | User Comment Submitted by Bob on 19 September 2017
This demo raises more questions that it possible can answere ;) four c64, synced at start, projectors viewed. prolly required four executables.. or something that shares common data... eventhough each binary has it sets of data ... quite a project I say ;) Awesome, new thinking, Creative... I love it!! ... | User Comment Submitted by enthusi on 18 September 2017
Nice concept.
Pressing space seems like madness but as suggested 1 stick for 4 C64s ok.
But at least the projector/video out will have up to 1 frame different delays with respect to the C64. And how do the C64s actually sync? They have no feedback how long the others waited for vsync after button-press? I would guess you can't get better than 1-2 frames with this method (which still is nice :) | User Comment Submitted by Yogibear on 18 September 2017 User Comment Submitted by Copyfault on 17 September 2017
As it cannot be stated often enough I have to repeat this for the 100% installment of this beast: excellent!!! | User Comment Submitted by Digger on 17 September 2017
OK, so from what Lemming said, there's no sync between the hardware but I guess it shouldn't be too difficult with a parallel cable via user port? | User Comment Submitted by lemming on 17 September 2017 User Comment Submitted by lemming on 17 September 2017 User Comment Submitted by Smasher on 17 September 2017
lol. time to rename into "Plural" ?
cool production!! | User Comment Submitted by Karmic on 17 September 2017
I don't think that "Singular" is the most effective group name to describe this production. :) | User Comment Submitted by Marq on 17 September 2017
An innovative concept for sure. I think there's still plenty more to be explored with this kind of configuration. | User Comment Submitted by hedning on 17 September 2017
Super cool! Thanx for doing this! |
