Joe, maybe it is time to produce another oil painting of this... If I manage to paint something presentable I will mail it to you. OK?

Really love this. Giving me both Japanese woodblock as well as Wayne Schmidt vibes.

Love it, it's reminiscent of a ukiyo-e!

@Pararaum: It's a bit of both. I used about a week just to study how nature grows close to water and how vegetation acts.

A tranquil landscape I would like to live in. Superb! Is it a real life scene or pure imagination?

Great picture! Use of hires + open top and bottom borders make it look very un-c64. (in best possible way)

If being fresh and original counted more: this would be the winner. Really a good one!

Really awesome work. Indeed reminiscent of the classic Doodle! Middle Earth image, but much more.. like some of the Japanese wood block prints of Hiroshige

Awesome. These fat pixels remind me so much of Wayne's pioneering graphics earlier on. Great release here and using the upper/lower border really assist with nature's perspective.

Great piece! I thought the same as Carrion, Joe-style mixed with "that US guy" :)

Such a fresh style compared to what you usually see on the C64, and brilliant execution with the colors and sprites... I love it!

In my view Joe is the #1 C64 graphician. Great use of black here, just to mention something.

Katon, wise choice not to comment while driving, not even for a masterpiece like this ;)

Really nice one Joe. Reminds me of some old C64 pics by this US guy who's name I cant remember now. But it has this Joe-is feeling to it.
