I did tinker a bit with assembler on the C64 in the early 1980s, but I never really got into the demo scene back then. Having been impressed by the demo groups on the C64 I co-founded an Amiga group in 1988, Public Enemies, after getting my Amiga a year earlier. We released a few productions, but the crew got disbanded in 1990 and we all moved on to other things. I recently "revived" this Group by releasing a one off and our first ever C64 intro, 30 Years. These days I dual-hat and rock with my dear friends in Atlantis and Pretzel Logic :)
As for my own handle, I was using Honcho even before we formed Public Enemies, a name I picked from an Agent X9 comics magazine in 1986 or 1987, can't remember exactly when it was :)
Trivia :
Grew up in Stockholm, Sweden, but moved to France straight after Uni and spent 8 years there before moving to London where I lived for 18 years before relocating back to the South of France.
Alongside my ZX81, C64 and Amiga I love the old arcades with my favourite being Ghost'n Goblins so got myself a working PCB. Runs with a 6809 so had a bit of fun tinkering with assembler to help debug an intermittent memory issue that has now been solved, after a lot of work I must admit ;)
