Original work drawn on paper & coloured in PS. This one is the back cover of my graphic novel “Future” (out from Fantagraphics Books August 2024):
The PETSCII version is done with Marq's PETSCII editor that allows a reference image. The charset version is done with aim of tracing the original by hand. The outcome here is of course very different from the original (which is based on my own ugly face :).

@jammer: they were in different compos. This was in the ASCII/ANSI/PETSCII graphics compo, and the other one made last place in the lowres graphics compo (which had only two entries). i guess those compo names don't map too well onto the csdb compo names, so someone initially put them in the same category (but they seem to be in different categories now).
