Now we know it for sure, but i thought before, that this fastloader will not really do 25x speed :) Also funny, that the AKA name is "30 X Turbo" here, when the normal name is "25 X Turbo". Why not giving "80 X Turbo" or "100 X Turbo" as AKA name, sounds even better than 30 X? *lol* No matter, the 12x speed is not bad, for a loader from 1986.

Okay, I measured again with the PRG mounted on Pi1541 into a temporary .d64 and the results are vastly different: I'm measuring 10.5s with 25x Turbo and 130.8s with stock loading.
This gives us a 12.6x speedup (19.4 blocks/s or 4.9kb/s) for 25x Turbo, so it's pretty much exactly half as fast as advertised! ;-)

I just looked around on the webby web for real drive measurements, and found somewhere a much higher time of 127s for 202 blocks using a stock loader, which would give this more of a 10,8x speedup. I did load One-Der without speeder in SD2IEC mode, so that may skew the results, I shall try again in full compatibility mode..

Based upon my suggestion, TSM integrated this loader into FB64 so Pi1541 users can finally load fast also without alternate DOSses or cartridges. According to my measurements the speedup (at least on Pi1541) is actually 7.5x (11.8s instead of 88.5s for 202 blocks of One-Der, or 17.1blocks/s or 4.4kb/s), i.e. less than a third of what's advertised. It's fast, but not as fast as other loaders, i.e. the Retro Replay software speeder gives me factor 9.3x..

Also, I don't know what the loadable memory range is, but it's not "up to $e000" as claimed by tlr. The 218 block Krestage 1 main file that goes up to $DFF0 won't load, but 202 blocks of One-Der do...

According to Graham this is a text changed version of Olivier Stiller's Most Access II. Supposedly used on the original disk of Amica paint.
Most Access II+ looks completely different though.
