"Hmm. Then what's the official policy?"
its kinda hard to tell in a simple rule, but generally the purpose of an entry that has no download link should be that the release is remembered, and a file is eventually found. | User Comment Submitted by Matt on 2 January 2010
hoppa!
thanks a lot for sharing! | User Comment Submitted by assiduous on 2 January 2010
thanks for the file Wackee! | User Comment Submitted by iAN CooG on 2 January 2010
Thanks for sharing, Wacek, much appreciated. Actually I don't see anything to be ashamed of =)
I like the Death logo. RIP Chuck \m/
"Tekk It" part + digis works better with 8580+Digiboost, especially the "Let's do it" sample sounds better.
I can hear in this part your wicked style I'm used to, please give us more =) | User Comment Submitted by wacek on 1 January 2010
OK then ;) 'Enjoy' ;)
And for more background info, read the summery ;) | User Comment Submitted by Matt on 1 January 2010
this is exactly the stuff a collector like me is after!
so, downloadlink PLEASE!! | User Comment Submitted by assiduous on 1 January 2010
the policy largely depends on the entry, for example you cannot remove release id==4796.
notwithstanding the policies it`d be a better idea to add the file, afterall its just the c64 scene database and not your professional portfolio, the demo is clearly marked as made in the adolescence period and peeps will always enjoy seeing a part of the previously undisclosed history. | User Comment Submitted by wacek on 1 January 2010
Hmm. Then what's the official policy?
I remember seeing recently a similar discussion under some other release saying "even if there's no download link, for the sake of history, csdb is a history database, put the entry in csdb anyway". This is basically the reason why I made this entry... Also, same goes for some "90%" or "party-ver" releases not having a download link, but being here due to history reasons.
I'll comply to the rules - no problem ;) just tell me what the rule is, dammit! :D

yep, what yazoo said. if its not released (and that pretty much means NOT "internally" only), then there is no point in creating an entry. | User Comment Submitted by Yazoo on 1 January 2010
well... its not officially released. so i am not sure that i can see the point of making the csdb entry without a download link :-) | User Comment Submitted by wacek on 1 January 2010
Give me a screenshot and I'll believe you, man ;) | User Comment Submitted by iAN CooG on 1 January 2010
I should create an entry for my 16 sided trackmo then. Not spread so far but it exists. No shit! ;) |
