Appreciate the pioneering work, and accept the ruthless attack on my nerves. Favourite parts were the opening and closing chords. | User Comment Submitted by Frostbyte on 1 September 2020
Can't comment on the composition as American Minimalism is not a genre I'm at all familiar with. :) But the sounds... Oh, the sounds. Wonderful, just wonderful real-synth-like sounds here! <3 | User Comment Submitted by spider-j on 11 August 2020 User Comment Submitted by CreaMD on 15 July 2020 User Comment Submitted by GH on 14 July 2020
Wowzers, an ancient idea and I cannot recall that this is done on c64 this way. A six minutes storytelling with fractalish rhythmic values, super sound design on dynamics andwelly executed. For my taste the build up does take up a little bit too long and the song could have arranged stronger even with these techniques it sounds kinda repetitive. Would have loved even more accents on the composing site :D
Proof of concept successful and extra points for sounds :D@
Joe: Can I have a copy of your jpeg2c64.exe template-always looks top notch wowzer edition - converter?*I have some parties coming up and I want to show off with a screen that can compensate for my musix* ;)
Thank you. | User Comment Submitted by HCL on 14 July 2020
What a great luck that all squares that melt into the purple area are also purple.. | User Comment Submitted by DKT on 13 July 2020
Another SID area recovered, fresh thinking, cool <3

Six-plus minutes of brain-nagging wonder... Some swells of fruity chords (get off my lawn!) get things going, then shatter into fragments like a fallen pane of (Philip) glass. Really inspiring. :) | User Comment Submitted by Joe on 13 July 2020
Lovely intro on the transposed chord variations. Glass-like progressions with echoes and finally a really cool Reich:ian pulse. | User Comment Submitted by Shogoon on 13 July 2020
Interesting concept. I would call it a fractal music - form develops by transformation of a few cells of sound, copying each other. Beautiful gfx also. | User Comment Submitted by booker on 13 July 2020
nah, but the pic is nice! |
