The song is brilliant in many many ways. Hats off! | User Comment Submitted by Hate Bush on 23 September 2010
your Silesia 2009 effort lifted my expectations VERY high, with its brilliant combination of musicality and technicality. i somehow miss the former in here... cool piece nonetheless. | User Comment Submitted by Conrad on 23 September 2010
Well done winning 2nd place, Kamil! This was ear orgasm on the sound system at the skate park. :)
As for listening from headphones, one thing I critic is that the background pads sound a little raw (like from some early 90s Amiga MOD music)... but still, a really well done tune! Also some of the 3-voice filter sweeps brought back some great memories of my parents' 1970s electronic organ. :) the whole reason why I love synth! | User Comment Submitted by NecroPolo on 23 September 2010
I could live without digis in this one but as a song it's still perfecto :) I really like the solo part. | User Comment Submitted by celticdesign on 22 September 2010
Chimerical!
only hubbard, galway or JT could do it better... ;-) | User Comment Submitted by Stainless Steel on 21 September 2010
Hm, it's a bit erratic for my taste. I'm not much of a digi friend also. | User Comment Submitted by Nitro on 21 September 2010
Straight 10 from me, mindblowing tune! | User Comment Submitted by booker on 21 September 2010
Ye, flt control on a high note ;) And this reminds me I should imitate some of Linus's bwoings soon. mhehehrhr | User Comment Submitted by Frantic on 21 September 2010
...and by the way, the way the "blop blop blop" sounds are used remind me a little about goto80's tune Ponky | User Comment Submitted by Matt on 20 September 2010 User Comment Submitted by The Human Code Machine on 20 September 2010
Daison: There's nearly no rastertime left. The black area isn't completly free to use. Every 2nd rasterline is fully occupied by the nmi interrupt ;) | User Comment Submitted by booker on 20 September 2010
Giving you 10 mate as I finally hear the solos from you the way I'd like it to be in the tune like this. For some reason I never liked your overdetuned solos running all around the place. 8-) Rest of the tune also great.
I do przodu ;)

Wow... amazing tune!
And considering all the digi's in it, it's in rastertime most coders can live with :) | User Comment Submitted by The Human Code Machine on 19 September 2010
Frantic: The Sid part uses Goattracker and the sample part uses an old beta converter from march with old mixing routines. At least it supports pal timing now. The newer mixing routines not used here, have a better mixing quality and louder samples. | User Comment Submitted by Frantic on 19 September 2010
THCM: ah.. hehe.. that explains it. I didn't look that closely but just noticed that it uses the timers for stable timing, to jump to digi code in zeropage, and the JMP $dd0c thing to quit the NMI and thought "hey, that looks similar to THCM's player".. ;) | User Comment Submitted by The Human Code Machine on 19 September 2010
The tune uses my still unreleased Mod-Converter. Nice one by the way ;) | User Comment Submitted by Frantic on 19 September 2010
Apart from the lead, I think this was a very nice one! Did you code the player yourself? | User Comment Submitted by Linus on 19 September 2010
Very lovely track indeed, really dig the style. A pitty in some parts the lead gets on my nerves too quickly tho, hence "only" an 8,5 out of 10 in my book. | User Comment Submitted by Ed on 19 September 2010 User Comment Submitted by psych on 19 September 2010
:) Almost everyone was asking for it (second part of Floatee) and we finally got it :) Excellent sound programming, but Floatee is still my number one :) |
