I started in Faces as Brian, but after learning that there are other Brians on the demoscene I chose handle Oberon.
The first demo where I took part as a Faces member was the Hungarian multipart "Demo of The Year 1990" demo where I used Brian as handle. In early 1991 Faces released its first megademo titled "High Voltage". In that demo I used handle Oberon already.
I met name Oberon in a Hungarian comic book from Tibor Cs. Horváth titled "Planet of Secrets - Adventures of Captain Perseus" in the '80s, drawed by Attila Fazekas. I loved that story, read it over and over, and when the time came I chose name Oberon as it was a special name to me.
Trivia :
I started as scener on the Commodore Plus/4 scene as TYB founded Fine Young Cannibals (FYC) with Toti who became Dr. Hector of Faces later on. After I met Faces members Jamie (he was a classmate of mine in high school), Henry and Alan, we decided to switch over to C64 and become Faces members. So we left the Plus/4 scene where FYC lived on with new members.
In FYC we had a member SJP who is now Edhellon. He was and still is a great coder and active member of Censor Design.
