King Tut

Ex member of :
Electric Copy Crew
Functions :
Coder, Graphician

Handle alternative spelling :
KingTut

Handlestory :
I was a coder of handful of late 80's demos, but my bias was always toward computer art and graphics. At 13 years old I went to a Commodore show in Manchester, it was when I first saw the King Tut Deluxe Paint image by Avril Harrison I was blown away, King Tut became my handle from that point!

Trivia :
Age 10, first computer, it was a Sinclair ZX81, 1Kb of ram!, learned basics of basic!

Age 11, second computer was Sinclair Spectrum 48K, created my first bitmap font and experimented with designing sprites using graph paper and transferring to pixel art using basic paint app.

Age 13, third computer was C64, learned 6502 assembly, created full screen art, animated sprites, fonts and a little music for demos.

Age 15, fourth computer was Amiga 500 (first edition), learned 68k assembly, created some demos and commercial code for a sound sampler. Explored full screen art much deeper with DPaint, created a number of tracker music compositions using samples and 4 track soundtracker.

Age 16 went to art college, studied to be a graphic designer and largely left code behind.

Age 19, got my first job in a graphic design agency, used Mac for the first time and entered world of desktop publishing and photoshop.

Age 24, fifth computer, Could finally afford an Apple Mac Quadra!

Age 30, started my own digital agency called Carbon Creative.

Age 48, (2020) On here reminiscing on the nostalgia of my C64 demo days and wondering if Corvid19 will take us all out this year!
