Sir Beavis    (1995 - 1996)

Handle alternative spelling :
SirBeavis

Handlestory :
Old handle from local BBS scene, discarded in favor of LocalH well before entry into NTSC C64 scene.

Trivia :
Not really much to say...after I became inactive, I spent some dabbled a little with Sega Mega Drive coding. Always wanted to make an oldschool C64-style demo for the MD, complete with approximate C64 palette (within the 512-color restriction of the MD VDP) and the graphical style that was common in the late 80s (logo, sprites, scroller, music, rasters, etc). Being the type of demos I grew up with thanks to getting demos from a semi-local PD library (which, in retrospect, was probably illegal, but nobody seemed to give two shits and the business is long closed), that general format evokes a warm, nostalgic feeling in me.

I did actually work on a demo that made more use of the Mega Drive color range, but had the basic setup of the oldschool demos. Only ever released a 75% build due to a hard drive crash where I lost a lot of code.

Thinking about making some new oldschool demos for the C64, with much better graphics than the shit I released before. If I ever do, I'll release it here at CSDb.
