Lord Brainwave  (LBP)  (1 January 1986 - ??)

Ex member of :
Paradise
Function :
Coder
Founder of :
Paradise

Handle alternative spelling :
Brainwave

Handlestory :
The nickname "brainwave" was picked randomly from the top of my head really. We at the time ended up adding initials like "Lord" and "Master" etc to make it sound more cool. Heh funny stuff..

Active on C64 since my dad got me my first commie back in 83-85 (not sure when that was exactly) and I started playing turtles, jungle hunt, dig dug, fort apocalypse, zaxxon, blue max. Good to see that all the fans keep the scene alive. Funny that most people ever involved but quit C64, won't scrap their old commodore material but rather keep it someplace in the attic (and tons of 5.25" disks)!

I got hooked on trying to code my own stuff and eventually coded a lot of utilities and demoes but most of it I never bothered to release to public domain. I formed the group Paradise with some local C64 fans, which FYI had nothing to do with the other Dutch group with the same name.

I uploaded some of my own coded stuff to this database. Funny to see all the silly old "I'm the best" (scroll)texts from back then. For me, C64 is not just a trend but an expression of art!

Trivia :
After graduating Computer Science I started to work for an ICT company when I learned after a few years that my boss was a guy from Softrunner Group!! :) Not surprising though because I reckon that a lot of C64 freaks started studying computer science later on and ended up working for computers and software firms
