amended the screenshot to include the typical c64 start screen (this one was Kernal's) showing the duckshoot menu, subscription info for a gold account and the red uk mailbox icon we all loved to see. indicating that mail was awaiting you :)

ok as an aside on here, anyone who was a cnet member can tag themselves as such by setting the relevant tag in the "attended" box in their profile.

i would also like to encourage anyone on cnet to add their cnet ID/mbx to their profile under "trivia".

I loved compunet, my parents were not to keen on some of the phone bills mind.

My compunet id was IRC.

For several years in the 1980's Compunet was the hub of the UK demo and c64 scene.

About this site:
CSDb (Commodore 64 Scene Database) is a website which goal is to gather as much information and material about the scene around the commodore 64 computer - the worlds most popular home computer throughout time. Here you can find almost anything which was ever made for the commodore 64, and more is being added every day. As this website is scene related, you can mostly find demos, music and graphics made by the people who made the scene (the sceners), but you can also find a lot of the old classic games here. Try out the search box in the top right corner, or check out the CSDb main page for the latest additions.
