a place to meet friends
The week before I was a bit nervous because I recieved two emails introducing 2 c64 events to me. One of them was, of course, the ComBär and one was a radio show. Both events featured the BCC (Berlin C64 Club) people.
I met them at the ComBär in 2006 november for the first time. They were very friendly and we, my wife was also involved, decided to come again.
The night before was the radio show which was a live show. They broadcasted a lot of sid's and also a c64 program. And they planed a party...
When we arrived at the spot, we were welcome by the BCC members who had their fantastic booth there. I talked with Thunder.Bird who repaired my C64 then. And I want to say him a big thank you for that reason. We also talked about his hardware project and my little keyboard proggy.
The other one I talked with was McGyver who showed me also a lot of C64 stuff like MMC64, the 4Player Adaptor, new(!) games and mags (a lot of things I haven't seen before). We had a great Bombmania session and enjoyed the whole event very much.
The next day we came again to take my c64 back home and to make a little resumee about the last day. Me and my wife are sure to have made new friendships and we want to come again the next time.
