Release id #22595 : Bruce Lee

Hi there,

I recently found a Bruce Lee/TBC version which did not binary match of these two versions:

Bruce Lee
Bruce Lee

So looking further, I found a fourth version of this. This caught my attention so I had a closer look at the four different binaries to find out the differences.

What I found out:

The first 49422 bytes are equal on all four binaries. The only difference is that 3 of them have 1 or 2 bytes appended.

Release 22595 has the bytes $00, $14 appended.
Release 38739 has the byte $FF appended.
The 3rd binary I found has no extra bytes appended.
The 4th binary has the bytes $26, $80 appended.

Any guesses which is the "correct" binary? I'd assume the one without any extra bytes, but who knows?

PS. The two CSDb entries should be merged.

PS2. I looked at the depacker and it seems like those appended bytes are not used at all. So indeed only those first 49422 bytes are needed.

Ancient copy programs sometimes added 1 byte to the program, this seems to be very common.

Ok so in that case I'd say: Both entries are the same version, and the 49422 bytes size PRG is the original file. Mods, please merge and remove the other PRG downloads too :)

One common filecopier to do this was Copy 190, there were probably others too.

I remember using that one too for 150+ Blocks files (where normal SAVE failed).

And every depacker depending on 2D/2E failed. Many files regarded as broken because of some trailing bytes.
