Group id #3880 : Fat Boy Crackers

Why most of old groups have in their name CRACKERS but never cracked anything?

Good old times.

Maybe that particular group name refers to a kind of biscuit?

Or people who like to destroy Harley Davidson bikes?

Hmm... I guess some of us shouldn't go there. I never wore a jockstrap (and I never will) and I haven't been in shape for five years... :)

I guess theres a (more or less lame) story to every handle.

Same goes for ppl who have DJ infront of their (msn/forum) nick who actually never touched a record in their life.

I guess it sounds intriguing/interesting or something.

Or sceners that have DJ after their handle, like T DJ :)

hmm... how many records do you have to touch to call yourself a dj? and if you touched many records do you get over a limit and a different name than dj? :)

Well, it just happens that I am a dj in real life as well.

"ik draai geen platen, ik draai om de feiten heen".

Sorry, joke only works in Dutch.

No, a MC doesn't spin records.
MC Hammer already said: "Can't Touch This".
Where 'this' means 'a record'.

I heard "cracking" means something different in the pirating scene nowadays. Not removing copy protections. Does anyone know about the change of meanings of terms?
