The only source to this is some guy called Jan Kirchoff Gyldenlykke. He posted info about this yesterday at 22:03 on the Dominators facebook page (!?). He had no sources, but said he knew some friends of a "swedish dude" called "Goolum" (he did spell Gollum wrong every time he wrote it). I asked if he meant "Gollum/Fairlight" and he said yes. I have no clue why this Jan outed this on the Dominators facebook page. I asked for sources, but only got this answer: "it will come out just wait a bit.."
That's about it. Nothing more is known. Lynx got the info there, and I am sure he don't know more than this. Don't change Gollum's entry on CSDb before there are other sources, please. |

It is now confirmed by The Sarge (he called Gollum) as a false rumour, and can now be seen as a good example of why we must confirm rumours like this with reliable sources before changing information in this database and freak out online.
I still wonder why this Jan trolled people. And if it's true that some swedish "Goolum" passed away, I wonder who that was. There is some Amiga scener called Goolum. |
