Handle id #2599 : Yip
Apparently, on 11th April, some American user called TParis (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:TParis) decided to delete the wiki page about Jori Olkkonen. I had a look at this TParis profile and he doesn't seem to, at all, be part of anything to do with the C64, or the scene.
I know Wikipedia is open to anyone who can do whatever they like with the existing content, but it's baffling to me why some nobody would want to delete info about a C64 musician.
Anyone else knew about this? |

Wikipedia discussion about the deletion shows that the TParis guy noticed the entry wasn't encyclopedically "interesting" and with no valid indipendent sources. Even if he's a "nobody" c64-wise, doesn't matter: if you want a Wiki page to be kept must be written correctly for Wiki mods. Self-gloryfying pages for example are blindly deleted everyday. |

its about "notability". only famous people who have been on tv, will stay on wikipedia. its snob site. there is SO much info missing on there. |

To be honest; looking at TParis' profile, it seems to me that he's a person who should've never gotten administrator rights in the first place ;-) |
