Release id #113902 : Pirates! 101% +10DR [pal/ntsc]

I am among the people who can report that the .d64 release does not work on an uIEC3 setup. I have tried both 0.10.3 and nightly build 2013-4-1 firmware. Both hang, with black screen and no disk activity, when I clear the trainer screen.

Hardware:

NTSC 64C
uIEC SD 3.0

As a side note, it also seems to think that my EasyFlash 3 is an REU, but even if I try to just Play from disk, or remove the EF3 entirely, the result is the same--black screen and no disk activity after the trainer screen.

(The EF build of Pirates 101% does work correctly on this hardware.)

uIEC (any) is not supported, this device is not programmable. Sorry. If you wish such devices to work, demand that the hardware creators follow commodore/cmd design standards and make the devices smart and programmable.

As for the EF issue... will pass it along.

Confirmed, n0sdos really DOES detect EF3 as a REU. This is a bug, and it will be fixed. Thanks for the report jcompton!

If you were asking me, the answer is "yes." Playing the disk release off supported magnetic media (FD-2000 1541 partition), it still sees the EF3 as an REU but if I simply tell it to Play the game, we get to the game.
