download model data, go to library... print it?

that said, the 3d printed stuff i have seen so far wasnt very durable at all - not well suited for something like a cartridge case, imho.

Gpz: I dunno what you've seen, but the material was probably PLA. PLA is bio-degradable, and hence not very durable. If you print with ABS, it's just normal industrial standard plastic that is used for most other injection molded plastic parts, and if you print it at 100% solid it is *very* durable, believe me! ;-)

Or you've seen laser sintered (cheap!) prototype material, like the case prototype that Weasel had with him on X2012!... That is also not indicative of the final build quality! ;-)

With proper fill and wall thickness the case is pretty sturdy, don't worry :)

With how many wall layers did you print it, Marq? And what about the fill-in density? Probably 100%, since there's no notable volumetric parts in it, huh? ;-)
Any specific layer width? I use 0.4mm on my PrintRbot...

0.6 mm solid wall thickness - affects only the bottom in practice. 40% fill. YMMV. AFAIR the layer height was 0.1 mm, but less precision would do fine.
