Anyone has an idea what the AA tag in the logo stands for?

Just a guess: Andreas W. Andersen

Voice Eater V1.0 has a tag "AA" while some other prod of him has AWA though.

I'd read the one in Voice Eater as AWA as well. :)
Maybe as additional hint: the code for the Ranx is from 1990, so the logo might be that old as well.
It could perhaps be a group as well; was thinking about Authentic Arts perhaps...
