Release id #40765 : Finely Sliced

I finally got around to making an entry for Finely Sliced today, but it's been so long that I've forgotten some of the details.

The release date's only approximate (I'm pretty sure it was in the break before 3rd year university, which makes it January or February 1991). It was around then that I posted a copy to The Voice, in any case; hopefully they spread it for me :)

Does anyone recognise the sprite font in the scroller? I think I lifted them from a production by Science 451 or Pu 239, but I can't remember which. I'd like to credit whoever created it.

I saw Finely Sliced at a demo party in 1990 from memory - your brother brought it along.

Heh - he says Hi!

I'm prodding some more friends to ask if they can remember when I worked on it, but it looks like the truth may be lost in the mists of time now.. 1990 is plausible, as I'm pretty sure I first discovered some d011 tricks back in 1989.

Thanks!

*double blush* Looks like I misspelled Zoro, and probably shouldn't have included Tech.

Sigh.

Oh, and the scroll text also had the release date, as HCL pointed out in the comments. 1991 it is :)

So much about human memory.

bah!

Maybe it was 1991. CJ's brother (Silicon, I believe) was there along with Anthrax/Chrome, Heavyweight/Chrome and a few other guys. I remember it well because Tony (Heavyweight) was programming something that involved colourmixing.

Well, my memory sucks at the best of times - dunno why I thought this would be any different.

His handle was indeed Silicon at the time.

I wouldn't be that worried by your memory - one of the reasons I was putting this up was so that I could document some of they details before they get forgotten altogether..
