Multi timberal SIDs

I'm curious of the best examples where the composers really overcome the limitation of three channels in the composition. Two examples I come to think of:

i'm afraid i don't understand the question. do you mean "which tunes achieved the richest perceived polyphony while avoiding putting all chord notes into arpeggios"? that would be a hard nut to crack, one needs highly trained ears to decide (i'm out) :|
