Hermit Webpage

Hi, All

I don't know where to spread this info on CSDB, but I made a new webpage where you can find some of my C64 remixes now & in the future:

hermitsoft.uw.hu

There are also other stuffs there (made by me)...e.g. all of my C64 programs, music (sid,xm,mp3), links, graphics, etc.

Give me feedback about your opinions here or in e-mail to hmtmade@gmail.com. Later I'll implement a forum into the webpage:)

Regards

Hi, thanks for the visit.

I promise the upcoming C64 remixes will be longer & complete.
(Also I'll add some of my old pastel/pencil graphics soon these days.)

Hi, All C64ers

I've just made (this weekend) a new live-instrumental remix of Mysterious World level 1 music by A-man.
(And also a new artwork piccy called Inquisition)

You can listen/download it at my page http://hermitsoft.uw.hu

I'll put it onto kwed.remix.org in better (320kbps) quality.

Every opinions could be interesting for me..

just so you know, mysterious worlds level 1 (preview) is not an original sid tune. its a conversion of the amiga game music by charles deenen.

I can reach it from the net, maybe that was a temporary error. To be sure I renamed the file to a simpler form without spaces & numbers & capitals (mysterious.mp3).
I Hope now you can listen it.

I'm very curious for the original Deenen version, but I couldn't find it yet as an mp3 or mod rip. Does anybody has link for it?

Thanks very much for the link.
The original Deenen tune was a bit different in taste, but maybe was better fit to the game's jungle-like atmosphere.

The tune is uploaded to remix.kwed.org, maybe will appear these days & some new remixes are coming soon:)

Dear All

I made a dirty rocker remix of Europe Tough plasm-demo music.

If anyone could help me, who done the original tune, what its title is, that would be great, because I'm putting it onto remix.kwed.org as better quality (320kbps).

Thanks in advance, looking forward your opinions.

It's playable & downloadable at my page (only in 80kbps).

ah.. it's loaded after some minutes :)

some advice.. place the SWF Spot MP3 player lower in your page, or else it looks like your homepage is completely empty (the rest doesn't show untill the player is loaded which takes looooooooooooooooong)

-edit-
http://hermitsoft.uw.hu/remix/hmtremix.html
even if i download from there.. your hosting is pushing at maybe 2.04KB/sec average at the moment :S

-edit-
and it timed out on me a few times. sorry if i can't hear it, i sadly can't help :(

Hi, thanks for visit

I don't know the problem exactly, it seems every sites of Ultraweb are coming in slowly, not only mine. I'll may change webserver-provider, and forward hermitsoft.uw.hu to the new link.

For me the page comes in about 10 seconds, then no problem with flash-playing. My email is hmtmade@gmail.com. If you would like, I can send the remix in 320kbps quality (8MB) via e-mail, just give me your e-mail address.

It will be on remix.kwed.org as soon I know the author & title (it's necessary for uploading to kwed). Sorry, the only thing I know, it's from Europe Tough's plasm-demopart.
In scrolltext was 'Jason' as coder, but no reference for musician.

Thanks again

The new remix is ready, Dazzler...I think you guessed.

The Remix.Kwed is having a break, so I couldn't upload this one there yet.

Direct link to it on my page:

http://hermitsoft.uw.hu/remix/Dazzlerzak.mp3

Or the remixes-link:
http://hermitsoft.uw.hu/remix/hmtremix.html

(Ultraweb server has maintenances recently, so it can be the case you can't reach it for first try. Then try later :( )

Dear Mates

I picked my instruments up again,
So I'm back again with 2 new C64 live instrumental remixes as a late Christmas present.
They are uploaded onto remix.kwed.org, and hopefully they will be there too in a few days as 320kbps quality...

But now I put the 128kbps versions at my own homepage:

CJ in the USA (original was composed by Ashley Hogg)

http://hermitsoft.uw.hu/remix/CJintheUSA.mp3

Amoba gamemusic: (original was composed by Trays)

http://hermitsoft.uw.hu/remix/amoba-xmas.mp3
(this is MY Christmas joke. You'll see why..)
The Bassflute, alto-flute and soprano-flute were played by my
brother, Peter Horvath... and he produced the strange voices :)

Or they're simply playable through my homepage's interface:
http://hermitsoft.uw.hu

Merry Xmas & Happy New Year
And keep up the scene alive, which keeps us alive..

Hello Folks

I'd like to announce that I created my new webpage.

http://hermit.netne.net/

It was a relocation to a bigger webhost (000webhost), and even a full change in design, and an updated music playlist of course...

Feel free to browse a bit if you have some spare time. Especially my newest projects might interest you...

There will be a forum too for the NeWorld project (there's one already in hungarian language... hermit.forumx.hu , but there has been small interest here.)

CHEER$ to all :)

Really strange. I can open the page from everywhere with/without '.www.'...

The index page doesn't contain anything else than plain html text, css, jpg, gif, png and cur files. I'll look at the settings at the webhost, but don't think that's the source of the incaccessibility. Maybe some antivirus/firewall program settings at client side.
...
After checking the page source there's a 'counter.php' attached by a javascript to the page by the provider. I'm not that expert at security exceptions, but maybe this code needs some filter-exceptions in an antivirus/firewall.

Hi Hermit,
you didnt ask for it, but this jumped right into my face:
"electrical techincian"

Also (personally), I really dont like sites that change the mouse pointer, but maybe that's just me.

Good luck with that one :)
Cheers,
enthusi

Thanks to the guys behind sidrip.com, I got a suckless host for my works, so I created a new webpage:

http://hermit.sidrip.com

There my major works can be downloaded, and there's a contact-form at the bottom of the page if one needs support and can't send me PM through CSDB...

I won't upload new versions of software (like SID-Wizard) to Sourceforge in the future, I'll share them at this new page instead. (And at CSDB of course, at least what fits in the 1MB CSDB upload-limit...)
