Event id #457 : Vision 2003

Ok this friendly guy 'Courage' had deleted the
Vision 2001/2002/2003 entries from the database

Perff was able to restore them, and I am currently
fixing all the dead links to the PTV pages.

Oh yeah I locked them, in order to prevent this from
happening again.

I would be happy with that, and I also support the idea to have only a selected nr of users to be able to mess with anything.

keep the kids away from tcpip...

the stuff happening lately (again) totally sucks. eg. courage, wanderer etc.

"oh nooo, you are sooo mean, I will wipe all data I entered"

shitty kids, will they ever grow up?

I've always been against locking of entries but lately I've seriously been considering locking everything I've added here.
It's a lot of work though...

Just start doing it for now, until the moment Perff will
come up with a solution to this deleting problem

Quite childish reaction from Courage (btw, is he really the one who deleted the entries?). The story repeats again. Somebody get a full load of crap by others and acts like a mad child, I don't justify this. But people should understand that throwing crap at each other has its consequences and the facts happening lately are proving this more and more.

Nothing justifies going bezerk on CSDb deleting entries & messing things up though, nor does it settle any arguments.

Well, how about entries get sent to the trashcan, instead of being deleted? The trashcan could be visible as a sidebar to the right, and you could force people to enter a 1-line motivation for deleting the entry. That way any registered user could restore entries. As for the implementation, it'd just be a BALEETED=YES flag, and after a week or so they could be deleted permanently.

Sounds like a good temporary solution.
