Imagemagick : bmp/jpg to C64 format. Possible?

Someone know if it's possible using Imagemagick
http://www.imagemagick.org/script/index.php
to convert bmp/jpgs or other formats to a suitable C64 format?
How?

like any other image manipulation program, imagemagick can convert images to whatever palette.

In my tought i need some program usable via bash script under linux... For precision, just hires gfx is needed, but also multicolor can be useful.

btw.. someone made some sort of special version of ffmpeg that is able to save to c64 formats. Can't remember who did this or where I found it though. I only remember that the sources were shared. Perhaps relevant for you?

In your place I would write a python script to do the conversion. Using the PIL extension ("import Image") you can read bmp, png, etc then just call getpixel() to figure out the pixels and write some code to generate bytes or assembler source code.

You might use "ConGo" (http://www.editorix.org/congo/).

@Shine: That one is hardly "usable via bash script under linux" as requested.

For programs useful from shell scripts, try C64Gfx.lha or Covert Bitops's C64 Tools collection.
