There was an article about the history of Katakis/Denaris in the austrian magazine LOTEK64, issue 45, page 28.

This game is one of my top favorites. Beside that, this was labeled first as "onefiled" and i said to myself "WOW ... that's impossible!" :D Anyway thanks for your effort dude! :)

@Which ori...

Only guesswork, till HF answers.

BUT: There _is_ an original version which is like Denaris but got Katakis in title screen.

See https://www.c64-wiki.com/wiki/Katakis#Denaris

Cool you fixed the lvl 4 chip bug!

We tested a bunch of versions on C64-wiki.de some years ago and found no version without that bug.

I wonder/must try if 2P is really playable in your version. If that's the case, this version is truly a milestone!

NTSC-Fix is not 100% but I guess this is forgivable. ;)

I loved katakis back in the day, it also happened to be the first crack (by shining 8) I ever got on disk.

From what I knew I thought they just rebranded and re-released the game under a different name?, I'll play both tomorrow now lol, just to see

I'm curious; the title screen says 'Katakis' , but the drones and level 2 are from 'Denaris' ?
