Trivia :
Got his first C64 some time around the mid 80ies, mainly playing games and doing very basic BASIC programming. Extremely impressed by musicians, cracktros and demo stuff, but had no relations to the scene. Went on to the A500 which was his first real tracker experience (also tracked on PC later on) but found samples to be a bit boring, thus developed a healthy interest for synthesizers. Still had occasional flirts with the C64 and the SID chip, building a few SID-based HW synths and did some C64 modding from time to time. When joining a local Commodore usergroup in april 2015 and making contact with a handful of very friendly Danish scene veterans, the urge for retro computing was severely re-ignited.

First music release More Fish! was "wrapped" in a lame'ish intro-maker (to avoid typical PSID screen and have a bit of scrolltext), and Hokuto Force offered membership shortly after. His time with this italian-based group lead to a few releases, like Frogger Arcade +4 and the 2nd place winner of BCC Party #10 C64 music compo Toca Off Alone. Also won 1st place in 20 second music compo (platform independent) @ Syntax 2015 with 'Vintage Riff'. A SID rendition of this track can be found in the very well-received rogue-like Demons of Dex which, by very unfortunate circumstances, turned out to be "the most controversial C64 game released since Giana Sisters" :) This controversy, alongside other ethical matters, eventually lead to Snabel leaving the group after being a member for roughly 1 year (the departure was officially announced in Left Hand Path).

While going freelance, he participated in the released of a small intro/one-filer (though using a recycled tune) called SNAQZ, created by q0w, which ended up earning a bronze duck in the Oldshool Demo compo @ TRSAC 2016. The duo had a very good chemistry from working together in the past, and both were determined to stay freelance. However, under lucky circumstances, Snabel joined F*A*I*C (an oasis of cultural liberation with distinct political agendas, fighting for artistic freedom and disruption of a bourgeois conformity), and his urge to belong in the Danish part of the scene got the best of him. Later on, both q0w and Snabel were invited to join Atlantis - this opportunity to join a group with real friendship and scene spirit was an offer that they just couldn't refuse! Initially Snabel had a little trouble committing, still somewhat hestitant of group participation, but eventually manned up and made the soundtrack for The Last Hope, a tribute to Princess Leia, which came in 3rd in the C64 Demo compo @ Datastorm 2017.
