This group is certainly *not* overrated, if anything, maybe even underrated.

They did some pretty amazing stuff, back when I did my first dycp's.

I might be a little biased though, looking at their code, and code by Bones, HZ etc gave me insight into what $d016, $d017 and $d011 can be abused for.

Gotta agree with Drax on this one. Upfront is one of my all time favourite groups.

I'm going to have to support Drax on this :) I just spoke to Zoro and we will try to heckle Einstein until he caves and find the source for "Too Drunk To Fuck". Unfortunately Einstein is probably our best option, since he was working on the amiga assembler.... Both Zoro and myself are fairly convinced our 5,25 disks are gone....

But Zoro agreed that if we can find the pieces we will release them.... as single part demos celebrating the 20th anniversary of Upfront!

I don't think we dissolved Upfront as such, we just sorta lost interest, what with university, MUD and such. I know there were an "Upfront" active into the 90s, though it didn't much resemble the old gang.

The note says 'dissolved in 31 December 1990' - but they released Plastic Passion in december 1991.

it's quite lame not to release 2 compo places winning productions :(

Submitted by DRAX on 8 February 2007
I my opinion one of the coolest groups ever!

Submitted by Graham on 13 February 2006
Lotsa unreleased demos -> cannot be cool.
