New Edition originally consisted of IPS, MASH, WGCA, Mafia Joe, Euratom (Gordon, Harold, Extermer), Paradroid & Tom. Tom was kicked out in 1987. Mafia Joe & Euratom left late 1987 to reform High Tech Boys. MASH & WGCA became inactive (due to their studying). New Edition was dissolved on February the 27th, 1988, when the remaining active 2 members - IPS & Paradroid - joined forces with Mafia Joe & Nightrider, to found the group Online.
Somewhen later in 1988, Tom & Anthrax decided the found a new group, that they called The New Edition, which isn't linked to the original "New Edition", besides the fact, that Tom has been a member of it for a short period of time and later on decided to build up a completely new group using the same name.
