International Game Transformers   (IGT)

Founded by :
TUC, Bug & Falco

Dissolved in :
1987

Group Types :
Demo Group, Cracker Group

Base Country :
Sweden

Trivia :
Formed in late 1986/early 1987 by three friends from school - BUG, TUC and FALCO. Inspired to form a group by friends(B.C & Guide) in Anticopyright Association/The Explorers, who lived
in the same town(Kungsbacka) in western Sweden. They also went to the same class in school as B.C of Anticopyright Association/The Explorers.

They wanted to be a cracking group with, what they thought, was a cool name. These three teenagers were taking English in school
and thought using looooong English words with a lot of letters, in their group name, was cool, thus - International Game Transformers.
The group name was also inspired by the Transformers action figure toys and computer game that came out in the mid 80s.

Intended to "transform"(=crack) games for an international audience - which never happened!

The members of IGT joined Copyright Escape in the summer/fall of 1987, see Together, Fire and Ninja Demo.

I posted a request in the forum about a lost release - a BASIC demo, our group(IGT) made, here:

International Game Transformers (IGT) BASIC Demo anyone?

If, you can help and find it, it will be greatly appreciated! The forum request holds more details about this lost demo. Thanks in advance!
