Changed from Bug to KMS(= full name initials !) in 1988.
Trivia :
His father realised the potential in computers and bought a bread bin c64, datassette 1530(C2N) in summer of 1984 or 1985. The chips onboard the c64 say they were produced w19-84/w20-84, so not earlier than 1984.
Started International Game Transformers together with friends from the same class in school - TUC and Falco in late 1986/early 1987.
Joined Copyright Escape under the handle Bug in fall of 1987 approximately along with other members of International Game Transformers.
Bought "Handic Software Mon64" cartridge, "Commodore64 Whole Memory Guide" and "The Anatomy of the 1541 Disk Drive" books, from Guide of Anticopyright Association/The Explorers, when he left the c64 scene for Atari ST. These tools and books triggered KMS into more advanced assembler programming of the c64. Later on, he also bought The Final Cartridge III.
Changed handle from Bug to KMS in 1988. Joined Tetragon, after invitation by LED, around early 1989 but didn't release anything for them and then basically left the scene, when leaving for a year in Canada in the fall of 1989.
Built an x1541 cable, for preservation purposes and dumped most of his c1541 disks, using Star Commander, in year 2000.
His c64 interest sparked up again in late 2017, when wanting to dump/preserve some old tapes found in a drawer. Ended up repairing his 1530 C2N datassette and later on bread bin c64 computer hardware. He also built a bunch of other hardware(DC2N5-LC, power supply saver, s-video adapter, Versa64Cart, 1541 serial cable, etc.) during these hardware fault tracing and repair "exercises". All of the above fault tracing and repairing, caused his return to the "scene" and later in 2018(August) he attended Datastorm 2018.
Currently, he's preparing to add missing information to CSDB and also repairing his c1541 floppy disk drive but the latter looks like a dead end due to faulty read head...
... and oh yeah, also using knowledge aquired from the c64 scene all those years ago, in his daily work :-)
