@Shine probably because the logo uses the same font style synonymous with Psygnosis logo ^_^

Parts of the logo reminded me instantly to Clystron Zax ... :)

The cat is very stealthy, but I love it, and how you made this very nice Psygnosis style on C64. Well done! 8/10.

Who cares if it's the Psygnosis/Psyclapse font, the logo shines and I like it!

Whatever people say about a ripoff, this logo has some crispness about it that thanks to the font type makes it brilliant! I really like this, and I can see it is hard work behind the pixels! For those blaming the similarity, just look on all the other entries; you really think all their different font types newer been done before? Google free font download and get amazed..

Agree with Groepaz! Ripping off Psygnosis has a certain scene-spirit to it, as oppose to ripping off Mario. (Sorry, Yazoo, love your stuff, though! :))

"Just waiting for the Ocean renditions to pop up."
first thing i had in mind when i read about this compo =)

as for a scene logo, being a succesful copy of the psygnosis logo simply gets you extra points.

art is more often than not is about copying and improving. I have no problem this looking like the psy logo. Rather I'm glad it can be done in 3 cols so nicely and even improved (backgr + cat)

BUT BUT... the c64 scene were populated because of criminals stealing all there is, all there were to steal, so in that way I think this logo is cool as crest too... but maybe just the hacker in me! If it is ripped and the pixels of someone else it is out!

I agree with Ste, it looks good, but it's just an exact reworking of the Psygnosis logo.

no offence intended but whilst it is an extremely good technical rendering of the text, it is Psygnosis's text, not Crest's. A logo by its very definition is supposed to be the personal "banner" of an organisation, not just some text "borrowed" from somebody else to write your group name surely?

Very nice logo. But it seems people voting on screenshots. As I use real machine you loose some points on the 'E' and the grey stuff around the 'T' and no highlights below the 'S'... =P
