I love cats. I like you, JSL. And I like yor art - often, not always.
But the more realistic you try to pixel cats, the more they remind me of Stephen King's Sleepwalkers.
I'd prefer comic style. |

I kinda like this cat. It may have had a hard life, but that's no reason not to give it some love. In fact, it's all the more reason to give it some love.

i don't want to sound to harsh, but...
seriously, that cat looks like it has been beaten to a pulp, burnt, torn apart and sewd back together.
for instance:
i'm totally cool with black outlines, but if they are not used properly, it could happen, like in this case, that an ear appears to grow out of a temple.
the eyes point at different directions, the fur/outlines on the left side of the picture appears fuzzy, the right side looks rather shaved to me, giving me thoughts of two-face...
i could tell much more details concerning the texture or the anatomy.
hell, i'm a damn rookie when it comes to pixeling, i just started, but that one, dude, in my honest opinion, is a failure in almost every way.
don't get it wrong, it's just criticism. but that could have been done so much better. |
