It's difficult to find words to describe this... Well, I'll try: super awesome!!

Only just noticed the T-rex on the hood of the car. amazing!

Submitted by wacek on 17 October 2013
And after all the splendid entries entered into the compo, this is still my favorite. The imagination and originality pushed into this one is amazing, and as I mentioned elsewhere - for me the magic of PETSCII is not to use the medium as a lo-res pixel canvas (as many do), but rather a set of hi-res blocks to build shapes from. This one utilizes it in an incredible way. The T-rex figurine alone deserves a huge 'fuck yeah' :)
Hats off.

Excellent, I love it! Vanja manages to retain her style from pixeling, and put the shame amount of charm in her petscii characters. Now, I hope there is a follow up to this pic, cause I WANNA KNOW WHERE GARY'S GOING IN THAT HURY, WITH A TIE, IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT!!! :)

At least form my point of view this is the picture that started the "new wave" of petscii. Legendary!

This is just great! Had to look twice to recognize it as PETSCII, and one can clearly see the amount of work that went into this one.

Submitted by Taxim on 8 October 2013
Much better than the background gfx in Attack of the Phantom Karate Devils. ;)
User Comment
Submitted by grip on 7 October 2013
Best PETSCII I've ever seen. It would be great even as a multicolour pic.

besides, CSDb votes have no influence on this competition's results - for a reason ;)

Oh noes, another lame ass anonymous downvoting coward gave it another 1 now!
User Comment
Submitted by chatGPZ on 2 October 2013
cant you just whine about those evil voters elsewhere? *YAWN* if the votes bother you that much, dont use csdb. its that simple really. this entry has a fucking TOP SCORE of 9.7. how can you even dare to complain?
User Comment
Submitted by PAL on 2 October 2013
So public votes are the solution i think... If we get a five next time i have used so much time as i do on demos i do quit. No mater what i do quit. or i will be part of a x2014 demo and that ends it all for me! I can understand some votes beeing there it is not that, but a five or below for fine work that one see one used so much time on and even it is not your taste but a five and below is just silly... right... i do not want that for scrollwars or any of our demos, that is just silly on the c64 platform as a public vote!

i hereby confirm that all the four people out of 85 that didnt vote 8 or more are officially scene killing assholes. And 53 ppl out of 85 had their balls removed to make sure they can contribute to shameless upvoting anonymously.

you are all such filthy basterds, you should stand in the corner. everyone!

(sorry vanja, i was seriously wondering who from HT made this *great* piece.... =P)

Vanja, on behalf on the whole scene i say sorry that the scene is populated by idiots that vote under 8 for this art in this format... it make me real sad and i think those votes are the ultimate evidence that the scene suxx so hard and show why the active members of the scene think so much on the fact to just quit doing it even that one is among the absolute best there is... vanja, you are fantastic, the image is beyond all standards and i thing the ones voting so low on your contribution here should really consider the very fact that we the ones making the best there is on the scene do feel hurt of that kind of votes... i only speak for myself... i use so much time on my graphics and when a no prove artist or person vote a one or five i get so sad.... you assholes are actually killing the joy of this and it is you who will end this splendor of a unique journey called the scene!

PS: I knew it was you, you are the best!

Not just a winner, one of the best petscii screens ive ever seen in my life! Maybe the one. I just fell off my data chair here in petscii ecstacy. Like someone said, this is petscii on another level. And even more cool, its totally obvious who did this piece just by looking at it. Mermaid for president!

Submitted by TheRyk on 14 September 2013
Let's say, she was a little shy or wanted to check reactions without her famous tag or just give some people a riddle to solve :)

Seriously, as long as the entry is tagged till the voting starts, I ain't got problems with uncredited entries, especially good ones of course, uncredited trash will be dumped mercilessly.

Submitted by Didi on 13 September 2013
This is great, but doesn't a valid entry require an author tag? ;)

This looks strongly on the Art of Vanja, to asure you "I didn't do this Petscii" :D
User Comment
Submitted by Deev on 5 September 2013
If this is by JSL then he should be proud and I doubt we will see all the high votes disappear, because they're all deserved. Like Pal, I thought it was Mermaid.
User Comment
Submitted by PAL on 5 September 2013
If JSL made this it show his span span in quality better than ever. This however is just very very good and i must say it is more reminding me of vanja... hey it is great no matter what or who or anything... it is super great image!

Great Petscii art.
I don't know who made it but I do know who didn't ;)
User Comment
Submitted by chancer on 5 September 2013
very good.. maybe the person in question thinks that putting their name will bias the voting.. like others a few names spring to mind. partly due to the styling of it.. even the piggy "@" .. very well thought out piece
User Comment
Submitted by Deev on 5 September 2013
So why is the creator staying hidden away? Based on the style, I have a strong suspicion of who it's by, but I'm not sure why that person wouldn't want to be known.
User Comment
Submitted by Flex on 5 September 2013
This is almost ridiculous, that good it is. Hope the author didn't use all the petscii-tricks available in this one.. just hoping that there's even a chance to beat this one.

Submitted by TheRyk on 5 September 2013
Great entry, top notch!

can't vote anything else but 10 either, here but remember, voting will be outside CSDb and work quite differently, anyway, so nobody should feel discouraged from competing even against such a masterpiece with a CSDb voting which seems impossible to top.

PS: CSDb server is still down, that's why there's still only the rapidshare link, sorry for that, contacted perff already

Created a rapidshare entry as an interim solution, because I couldn't upload it to CSDb, keep getting
"Problems with file server. Probably down. :( (Errorcode: 4)
Please try to upload again later."

Will fix that as soon as possible if no one fixes it faster than me (rapidshare Link can be removed then). Sorry for the inconvenience but I can't sort out that server problem since I'm not "working" here, i.e. I'm no CSDb Admin =)
